Hermes Agent

A private, single-user personal automation assistant.

Hermes Agent is a self-hosted software agent operated by Lucas Vidmar (Buenos Aires, Argentina) on hardware he owns. It is not a public service: it has exactly one user, its owner, and it is not offered, sold, or distributed to anyone else. Google accounts are connected only so the owner can drive his own mailbox, calendar and documents from the assistant.

What it does with a Google account

• Reads, searches, labels and sends email in the connected mailbox.
• Reads and creates calendar events.
• Reads, uploads, downloads and organises files in Google Drive.
• Reads and edits Google Docs and Google Sheets.
• Reads Google Contacts (read-only) and manages Google Tasks.

Every one of these actions is initiated by the account owner in a conversation with the agent. The agent does not crawl the mailbox, does not act on a schedule other than jobs the owner himself configured, and does not use the data for advertising, profiling or resale.

How to disconnect

Access can be revoked at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately invalidates the stored OAuth token.
